Mother Goose, by Alan P Frayn, breathes new life into the storyline, comedy and emotions of this traditional tale. Brand new for 2004, this imaginative work reinforces the storyline bringing it to the forefront in every scene and ensuring interest for both young and old alike. In addition to Mother Goose herself, there are many other new and traditional characters, including, of course, Priscilla the Goose. With plenty of audience participation and some very original business, this script provides the basis for Chris Bell's production, Stone Little Theatre's 25th Silver Anniversary Pantomime and A UK PREMIERE. Be sure not to miss it!
Alan Frayn has written numerous professional pantomimes and family shows, including all the productions at Alton Towers over a 6 year period. With over 27,500 professional performances of Alan's scripts, his shows have delighted audiences as far afield as Beirut and Hong Kong. In recent years he has written several scripts for one of the largest scale pantomimes in the UK, staged at a major 2,500 seat concert venue in Sheffield.
Stone Little Theatre's enormously successful 2003 pantomime, Ali Baba & The Forty Thieves, was another Alan Frayn original. Besides his writing skills, Alan is Managing Director of Stage Right Creative Limited, a company providing complete creative and technical services to the world of entertainment including lighting and sound design, hire and sales. |
